Obituary for Mrs. Jewel Lillian Dodd Price Jewel Lillian Dodd Price, 83, wife of George Millard Price, of 132 Treaty Street, Seneca, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. A native of West Union, SC, Mrs. Price was the daughter of the late Marvin and Minnie Brucke Dodd. She retired from Howard Pettit Law Firm.

Mrs. Price was an avid member of Hopewell Baptist Church where she was active in many church activities, choir member, assistant organist and church clerk. In her free time, Mrs. Price also enjoyed camping, sewing, watching Clemson sports and the Atlanta Braves. She was known as a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Price is survived by her daughter: Rhonda Richardson (Scott) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Rachel Houx of Anderson, SC and Carolyn Craig of Liberty, SC; brothers: Harold Dodd of Seneca, SC, Jack Dodd (Judy) of Seneca, SC and Raymond Dodd of Seneca, SC; sister: Wilma Dain of Walhalla, SC; four grandchildren: Melissa Richardson, Sarah Buechele (Christopher), Kayla Love (Chase) and Justin Craig; and four great-grandchildren: Cady Love, Sophie Love, Axle Love and Aubrey Love. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Price was preceded in death by her sister: Irene Grant; and son-in-law: Bill Houx.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 23, 2018, at Hopewell Baptist Church with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00–8:00 PM, Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Davenport Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hopewell Baptist Church, 161 Hopewell Church Drive, Seneca, SC 29678 or flowers are accepted.
