Obituary for Mr. David Dalton Peay David Dalton Peay, 74, husband of Jean Patterson Peay, of 103 McAlister Road, West Union passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 at his residence. A native of Oconee County, Mr. Peay was the son of the late James Carl Peay and Beulah Hood Peay. He was a retired lineman with Blue Ridge Electric and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Peay is survived by his sons: David Peay, Jamey Peay, Michael Peay all of West Union; daughter: Donna Cobb-Peay of West Union; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, brothers: Johnny Peay of Walhalla; Carl Peay of Tamassee; Roddy Peay of Westminster. In addition to his parents, Mr. Peay was preceded in death by a grandson: Kyle Williams; brothers: James W. Peay, Pat Peay, Wayne Peay, sisters: Eula Mae Freeman, Katherine Manley, Evelyn Addis, Inez Peay and Lois P. Rice. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with burial to follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Davenport Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to GHS Hospice of the Foothills, Attn: Foundation Office, 298 Memorial Drive, Seneca, SC 29672 The family is at the home.
