Obituary for Ms. Nellie Mae Holmes Nellie Mae Holmes, 72, of 140 Tokeena Road, Seneca passed away June 6, 2018 at Seneca Health and Rehab. A native of West Union, SC, Ms. Holmes was the daughter of the late Roy and Mamie Nix Holmes. She was a homemaker and a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

Ms. Holmes is survived by her nephew: Greg Holmes of the home; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ms. Holmes was preceded in death by her step-mother: Edith Nell Holmes; sister: Debbie Williams; and brothers: Harold Ray Holmes and Wayne Holmes. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM, Sunday, June 10, 2018, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with burial to follow at the church cemetery.

The body will lie in state from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Sunday, prior to the service, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church. Flowers are accepted. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Ms. Nellie Mae Holmes please visit our Sympathy Store.
