Bernice’s Obituary Bernice I. Brown, age 81 of Mechanicsburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at her home. Born January 2, 1938 in Everett, PA she was the daughter of the late Merle and Hazel (Black) Cook. Bernice was a former bank teller with Fulton County National Bank.

She was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, Mechanicsburg and a 50 year member of Fulton Chapter #519 OES. She enjoyed cooking, traveling and most importantly spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Bernice is survived by her loving husband of 60 ½ years Warren S. Brown; two sons Craig (Laura) Brown, Dirk (Tonya) Brown all of Mechanicsburg; 5 grandchildren Travis Brown of Hawthorne, CA, Ryan Brown of Mechanicsburg, Trent Brown of King of Prussia, Joshua Brown and Hannah Brown both of Mechanicsburg and 5 great grandchildren Eve, Elsie, Parker, Zoe and Jonah. Bernice was predeceased by her brother Charles Cook. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, February 11, 2019 at Malpezzi Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg with viewing held from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.

Burial will take place at Grantham Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Olivet UMC Women’s Society, 5000 Simpson Ferry Rd, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050 or to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, Grand Central Station, P.O. Box 4777, New York, NY 10163-4777.
