BILLY’s Obituary Billy Glenn Busby, 79, of Robards, Kentucky, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at his home. He was a retired truck driver. Billy loved working in the garden, enjoyed spending time with his family, and was a huge UK basketball fan.

He was also a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Leroy Busby and Frances Crowley Busby Cleveland; one sister, Annette Wooten; and three brothers, Thomas Bethel Busby, Benjamin Rudolph Busby, and Bobby Joe Busby. Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Rhonda Busby; two daughters, Jennifer Harmon and her husband, Gary, of Morganfield, Kentucky, and Trinity Smith of Robards, Kentucky; one son, Billy Joe Busby of Owensboro, Kentucky; four sisters, Redia Brooks of Alabama, Fredia Russell of Florida, Brenda Willingham of California, and Debra Powell of Florida; one brother, Walter Busby of Henderson, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Cameron Embry and Cali Embry; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home. The Reverend Mike Snyder will officiate. Burial will be in Busby Denton Cemetery in Cairo, Kentucky.

Military rites will be performed by American Legion Worsham Post No. 40. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

Contributions may be made to Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Busby, Jonathon Hancock, Trish Russelburg, Donnie Bigers, Donnie Wooten, and Dale Wooten. Online condolences may be made at www.
