Brad N. Smith, 63, of Waverly passed away September 8, 2018 at the Camden Clark Medical center after an extended illness surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 27, 1954 in Williamstown, WV the son of Clyde and Naomi Smith of Florida. He retired from Forma Scientific after 17 years of service.

Brad loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed spending time on the river boating and camping. He also loved his motorcycles.

In addition to his parents, Brad is survived by his lifelong partner of 28 years, Pam Jarvis; one son, J.T. Smith; two brothers, Mark (Amy) Smith of TN, Tim (Shari) Smith of Williamstown; one sister, Tena (Brady) Lyons of Lowell, OH; one stepson, Matt (Missy) Jarvis; two granddaughters, Jamieson and Kylee; four brothers-in-law, Wayne (Janet) Jarvis, Mike (Karen) Jarvis, Bill (Gaye) Jarvis and Alan; four sisters-in-law, Sandi (Giles) Ragsdale, Betty Jarvis, Becky (Sam) Anderson, Sharon Jarvis and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Earl and Hazel Martin, Clyde Sr. and Hala Smith and also Gary, Jack and Lindi Jarvis. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 11, 2018, 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, WV.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 12, 2018, 10:30 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lubeck Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.
