Wilbur R. Marks, 88, of Little Hocking passed away Friday August 31, 2018 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on March 21, 1930 in Perkins, WV a son of the late Richard and Lulu (Moore) Marks. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Korean War.

He retired from Warren Local school where he served as Elementary Principle, and after retirement sold real estate for McCarthy Realty. Wilbur is survived by his wife of sixty-five years Delores Fay (White) Marks; four sons Roger Marks of Vermilion, OH, David Marks, Warren Marks, and Darren Marks (Lisa) all of Little Hocking; three grandchildren Mathew, Bradly, and Tyler Marks; a great grandson Maddox Marks; and a sister Maxine Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson Cullen Austin Marks, and eight brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre with Pastor Jim Dickey officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Tuesday, September 4, 2018.
