Barbara Lynn Hauber Barbara Lynn Hauber, 71 of Parkersburg, passed away at her residence September 6, 2018. She was born April 30, 1947 in Stotesbury, Raleigh County, WV a daughter of the late Charles D. and Mildred (Reed) Farthing. Mrs. Hauber was a retired Registered Nurse.

She was a graduate of St. Joseph’s School of Nursing and had worked for Amedisys Home Health and formerly worked for St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was an avid doll collector, enjoyed making and collecting teddy bears and watching her grandkids. Surviving is her husband of 31 years, Stephen D. Hauber, daughter Jessica Barrett Grogg (Shawn) of Parkersburg, her sibling Sister Mona Farthing CSJ of Wheeling, two grandsons: Devin and Adam Elder, two brothers-in-law: Michael Hauber (Michelle Brown) and Rick Hauber, sister-in-law Paula Chaffee (Dan), close cousins Sharon and Dale Plumly, close friends Larry and Judy Johnson and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday 1PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Jay Hubbard officiating. Interment will follow at Randolph Cemetery, Reedsville. Visitation will be Sunday 2-5PM.
