Carolyn L. Deskins , 80, of Coolville passed away June 8, 2018 at Arlington Care Center In Newark, OH. She was born on October 8, 1937 in Parkersburg, WV a daughter of the late Paul Henry and Mary Dreta (Gain) Lott. Carolyn was a RN and worked at Camden Clark Hospital and the Red Cross.

She was a member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 541. She is survived by her son James Patrick Deskins (Tara) of Newark, OH; two twin grandchildren J. Conor and Emma C. Deskins; a sister Marlene Gaines of Parkersburg; and a sister-in-law Linda Lott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James “Jim” Walden Deskins, and brother Larry Lott.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 16, 2018, 11:00 am at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, WV, with Rev. Frank Miller, officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
