Christine’s Obituary Christine Patterson, 84 of Blanchard, Louisiana passed away on January 21, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home Chapel in Vivian, LA, officiated by Rev. Paul Hayes.

Burial will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery in Brightstar, Arkansas. There will be a time of visitation from 12:00 PM until the time of service on Thursday, January 24th. Christine was born on June 28, 1934 in Hermitage, Tennessee to Plumey and Mamie Hollis.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Floyd Patterson, her sisters Ernestine and Marie, her brother Raymond, and her granddaughter, Chelsea Patterson. Christine was a devout Christian. She was a prayer warrior and intercessor who touched many lives.

She taught others to pray and how to worship our Lord Jesus. Even though she was short in stature, Christine knew how to wield the sword of the Spirit and she was a mighty warrior. Christine leaves behind a legacy that will live on in all our hearts and lives.

Christine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She leaves behind her two children, Roger Patterson and wife Donna of Blanchard, LA, and Kayla Goodman of Mooringsport, LA. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, T.J. Patterson, Dustin Patterson, Ben Patterson, Katy Barbee, Kendal Byas, and Jake Goodman, 13 great-grandchildren, a host of friends including her close friends, Pam Beckwith, Marilyn Taylor and the Boykin Family.

Pallbearers will be Adam Barbee, Dustin Patterson, Ben Patterson, Caleb Patterson, Jake Goodman and Clint Byas.
