Obituary for Christine M. Yates Archer Christine M. Yates Archer, 57, of Murphysboro and formerly of Herrin, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018, in Murphysboro. Christine was born in Orleans, France, on January 30, 1961, a daughter to the late Robert and Connie (Rash) Howell. She was united in marriage to Robert Archer in Herrin, IL, in 2014.

Robert survives of Murphysboro. Christine was employed as a secretary at the Herrin Middle School, and was a graduate and member of the 1979 class of Herrin High School. Cremation will be accorded.

A celebration of her life will be held from 11am to 1pm on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Murphysboro. Memorials may be made to Herrin Middle School Survivors include her husband, Robert Archer of Murphysboro; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Amanda (Jared) Borders of DuQuoin, IL, Amy (Nathan) Crabtree of Troy, MO, and Megan Archer of Damiansville, IL; three grandchildren, Jaden, Jeffrey and Jennifer Crabtree, and three sisters and one brother.
