Cindy Kay Butler, 53, of Rittman, OH, died Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Aultman Hospital, Canton, OH. Born June 10, 1965, in Oakland, MD, she was the daughter of Mary Ruth (Deal) Mulliken and the late George Frank Mulliken. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Ruth Severe.

Cindy was a farmer and worked on her own farm raising cattle and later, goats. She loved to farm and take care of her animals. She enjoyed arts and crafts and could turn nothing into something beautiful.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, William Joseph Butler; one son, Spencer Perry Butler, Rittman; three brothers, Michael Mulliken, New Port Ritchie, FL; John Frank. Mulliken and wife, Sherry, Bayard, WV; Thomas Benny Mulliken, Oakland; one sister Lisa Ann Tusing and husband, David, Oakland; a brother-in-law, Frank Severe, Terra Alta, WV; a grandson, Seth Butler and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 1100 Memorial Drive, Oakland on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Russell Liller officiating.

Interment will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Oakland. A service of remembrance will be held at her farm in Ohio, at a later date. Condolences may be left for her family at www.
