CASTLEWOOD, VIRGINIA – Clarence Ray Lane, 76, died Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at his home. He was born in Dungannon, Virginia; son of the late Roy Lane and Loma Stansberry Lucas. He was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Lane; one sister, Mary Ruth Lucas; one great granddaughter, Isabella Hale; and one son-in-law, James Morrison.

He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a retired security guard and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by three daughters, Victoria Lane and friend, Jimmy Cutshall of Abingdon, Virginia, Sandra Hale and husband, David of Castlewood, Virginia, and Pamela Robinson and husband, Danny of Liberty, North Carolina; one special friend, Patricia Manies of St. Paul, Virginia; one brother, Eddie Lane of Coeburn, Virginia; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Clarence Ray Lane will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2019 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with Rev. Shawn Dupuie officiating. Committal Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2019 in Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia.

Family and Friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:30 a.m. Friday. Pallbearers will be Family and Friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2019 in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia.
