CASTLEWOOD, VIRGINIA – Larry Skeen, 66, died Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at his home. He was born in Abingdon, Virginia; son of the late Haskell and Lottie Robinson Skeen. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Victoria Skeen; two brothers, John Skeen and George Skeen; and his mother-in-law, Lola Davidson.

He retired from John Manville, Defiance, Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Skeen; one daughter, Marsha Bak and husband, Dale of Sherwood, Ohio; one son, Joseph Skeen of Castlewood, Virginia; six sisters, Dorothy Louthan of Sneedville, Tennessee, Wilma Gilliam of Noblesville, Indiana, Edith Sluss and husband, Curtis of Coeburn, Virginia, Jewell Haga and husband, Don of Blountville, Tennessee, Phyllis Peacock and husband, Earl of Holden, Missouri, and Eliza Williams and husband, Randy of Lebanon, Virginia; one brother-in-law; Norman Stallard and wife, Bridgette of Bean Station, Tennessee; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Larry Skeen will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019 in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia.

Interment will follow in Skeen Family Cemetery, Castlewood, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Kevin Williams, Tony Skeen, Jimmy Skeen, Wayne Sluss, David Sluss, and Greg Gilliam. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2019 in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood, Virginia.
