He was born in Ubly to Albert and Ella (Patterson) Bissett. He graduated from Imlay City High School and served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany.

Clee married Bonnie Jean Millikin on September 13, 1952. Clee was a licensed builder and built homes all over Michigan. He was also a finish carpenter and cabinet maker.

Clee had worked for the Department of Public Works in Brown City for several years. He enjoyed watching baseball especially the Detroit Tigers and his grandkids play ball. Cleelan is survived by 5 children; Terry (Linda) Bissett, Cindy (Rick) Miller, Dennis (Sandy) Bissett, Kelly (Bob) Jager and Heidi Bissett, 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Also surviving is a brother Bob Bissett and a sister in law Mary Lou Bissett. He was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie and 10 siblings that included a twin brother. A gathering and visitation will be Monday February 25, 2019 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church in Brown City.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday February 26, 2019 at Faith Baptist Church in Brown City. Grandsons will serve as casketbearers with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to United Hospice of Marlette.
