Obituary for Danny Robert Evans Danny Robert Evans, 59, of Lincoln, formerly of Grand Island, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018. Cremation has taken place and there will be a graveside service at a later date. All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Danny was born August 25, 1959 in Kearney, the son of Robert and Doris (Hartmann) Evans. He grew up in Grand Island, attending Connell School. Danny enjoyed being around people and was employed at Dreisbach’s and Sambos.

In 1982 he relocated to Lincoln and was employed at the Federal Building, retiring after 25 years. His enjoyments included riding his bike, listening to music, playing cards, coloring and painting. Good hearted and caring, Danny also loved animals.

Those who will cherish his memory include his sisters, Iona Evans and Kathy Evans, both of Grand Island; several cousins; and good friend and living assistant, Steve Salaycik. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David Carodine. Online remembrances may be left at www.
