Obituary for Russell T. Jordan Russell T. Jordan, 55, of Grand Island passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 18, at Saint Leo’s Catholic Church. Father Donald Buhrman will officiate.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 9:30 until service time. All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Russell was born on July 24, 1963 in Grand Island, the son of Thomas and Phyllis (Tesmer) Jordan.

He grew up and attended school in Grand Island, graduating with the class of 1982. On October 29, 1999, he married Erin E. Gosda and they made their home in Grand Island. Russ had a passion for animals.

He enjoyed wood working, jewelry making, gardening, collectibles, and electronics. He had a gift of brightening everyone’s day with his incredible sense of humor. Russell was employed by Office Net for 17 years.

Previous employers were DZ Office Products and Eakes Office Supply, all of Grand Island. He was welcomed into Heaven by his wife; his parents; and his sister, Deborah A. Gordon. Survivors of the immediate family include two brothers and a sister-in-law, Randy and Marge Jordan of Grand Island and Maj.

Rodney Jordan of Fredericksburg, VA; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Terry Long of Boynton Beach, FL and Stacie and Randy Pizer of Punta Gorda, FL; eight nieces and nephews; sixteen great-nieces and great-nephews; and step-daughter Kiley Gosda of Grand Island.
