Danny Thompson, 74, of Danville, Va. , passed away on April 10, 2018, at his residence. Danny was born January 8, 1944, in Danville to the late Evelyn Yates Thompson and the late Doctor Anderson Thompson.

In addition to his parents, Danny was predeceased by a son, Jay Daniel Thompson and two sisters. Danny attended Timberlake Baptist Church and prior to his retirement he worked as a salesman with Loftis Tire Company. He was also employed with Advance Auto for a number of years.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2018, at Timberlake Baptist Church, with The Rev.
