Travis Wade Maxey, 21, of Martinsville, VA passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018. He was born May 21, 1996 in Eden, NC to Kelly Davis Maxey and Jeff Maxey. Travis was a graduate of Martinsville High School and Patrick Henry Community College.

He worked for Lee’s Tire and Wheel as a head mechanic. He was an active member of the youth group of First United Methodist Church, Martinsville and Boy Scouts, Troop 326, Broad Street Christian Church. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Garvin Maxey and Nile Davis. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville, VA with Rev. Buck Wardle officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2018 at Norris Funeral Services and other times at the home. Memorial donations may be made to the Boy Scouts, Troop 326, Broad Street Christian Church. Norris Funeral Services, Inc. and Crematory of Martinsville, VA is serving the Maxey family.
