Henrietta Switzer Cash, 85 of Amherst passed away, Monday, May 7, 2018 at her daughter’s home in Madison Heights. Born in Alleghany County, May 8, 1932, Mrs. Cash was the daughter of the late Henry Jackson and America Allen Ball Switzer. She was retired as a Seamstress with Amherst Manufacturing and was a faithful member of Wesleyan United Methodist Church for many years.

Surviving are her daughter, Lorrie Saunders (Roy) of Madison Heights; granddaughters, Kristen Ashley Saunders (Justin) of Fayetteville, NC and Tiffany Boydoh (Paul) of Forest; two great-grandchildren, Mikenzi Lindsey and Jaxon Lindsey; and two sisters, Jane Martin of Madison Heights and Marie Branham of Amherst. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Wesleyan United Methodist Church, 167 Kilmarnock Road, Amherst.

Interment will follow in Amherst Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm Thursday at the church and other times at the residence of her sister Jane, 238 Pinecrest Drive, Madison Heights. Those who wish may make memorials contributions to Wesleyan United Methodist Church.
