Deanne Kay Schraner Berry, age 58, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 2:54 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Redbanks Nursing Home. Deanne loved being a stay at home mom when her children were small. After that, she became a beloved cashier at Zion Store for many years.

Deanne was a very talented seamstress and always made clothes and Halloween costumes for her children. She was a member of DuPey Baptist Church. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles from the newspaper and from her puzzle book.

Deanne cherished her family and friends and she will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Delores Schraner, father and mother-in-law Weldon Lee and Margaret Fraaken, sister Kim Schraner, and her son William Nicholas Berry. Deanne is survived by her husband of 35 years John Berry; daughter LesLeigh Berry both of Henderson, KY; one sister Johnna Puttoff of Franfort, KY; and two nieces Rachel and Sarah.

Relatives and friends are invited to Deanne’s Life Celebration from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and again Thursday, January 31, 2019 starting at 10:00 a.m. at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with D.T. Fulkerson and Matthew Fulkerson officiating. Burial will follow at Cash Creek Cemetery in Hebbardsville, KY.
