Della Jane Hoffman, 91 of Sierra Vista, AZ slipped the bounds of Earth June 25, 2018 to Join Jesus, her beloved Jay and loved ones. At the time, She was surrounded by her son, daughter and other loved ones. Della Jane was born December 9th, 1926 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to Virgil “Buck” Wooley and Ottie Wooley and she Enjoyed Life with her brothers Robert Wooley, Virgil (Bucky) Wooley, Thomas Wooley and her sisters Virginia (Marrs) Wooley and Anita (Flowers) Wooley.
She was united in Marriage to J.L. Hoffman on November 11th, 1944. They moved and made their home in Plymouth, Michigan in 1950 where they lived and raised their Family until they retired to Sierra Vista in 1989. Della was very Diverse in all that she did, whether she played Varsity basketball, helped family work in the fields, worked for the government in World War II, worked for the Burroughs Corporation for over 30 years until retiring in 1985 or worked for the Church of Christ.
She lived with Jay until he passed in 2005 and then lived with her daughter and son in law for the next 14 years. She was a Christian lady and attended the Church of Christ of Sierra Vista where she hardly ever missed a Sunday where she loved God and all the Churches members. No matter where she worked or lived her main Dedication was to GOD and her Family.
Della has been blessed to have shared her life with her three children—Bonnie Kay Riley, Connie Carole Pauzus and Ronald Jay Hoffman. They in turn gave her Five generations of Love. Della is survived by Connie Pauzus (Bruce), Ronald Hoffman (Vi) and 10 Grandchildren: Kimberly Morris(Billy), Tina Ardy(Mark), Sarah Taylor (Shane), Tara Parsell (Greg), Krisha Hoffman, Rhonda Hoffman, Veronica Vondrak (Tyler), Daniel Hoffman, Tabetha Palomares (Josh) and Shana Spears.
14 Great Grandchildren: James Morris, Katie Donoviel, Christopher Ardy, Connor Ardy, Courtney Ardy, Kody Taylor, Koby Taylor, Garrett Parsell, Gavin Parsell, Gabriella Parsell, Cole Maxey, Briana Maxey, Mercedez Hoffman, Victoria Hoffman. 8 Great Great Grandchildren: Aiden Ardy, Mason Ardy, Lorelie Ardy, Grayson Ardy, Damien Palomares, Rayce Palomares, Violet Palomares and Meadow Vondrak. Della has many nieces and nephews that she dearly loved and held close to her heart.
She was all about Family. . Della was abundant with Love and her Joy for Life was Jubilant!
No Doubt all that knew her will remember her with only Grace and of course a Smile for all. Thankyou Willadee! A viewing will be at Hatfield Funeral Home on Hwy 92 from 5:00 till 7:00 pm on Friday June 29th.
Please enter from Bluebird Drive (due to construction). 10 am Church Services on Sat. June 30th will be at the Church of Christ, 815 El Camino, Sierra Vista and she will be layed to rest at Cochise Memory Gardens Cemetary following the service.
