Mary Jane A. Coble January 21, 1942 – July 20, 2018 Sierra Vista- Mary Jane A. (Habiger) Coble, 76, of Sierra Vista past away peacefully on Friday, July 20, 2018 surrounded by her family at Peppi’s House in Tucson. Mary Jane, daughter of the late John and Esther (Rakotz) Habiger was born in Little Falls, Minnesota on January 21, 1942. She was raised in Lastrup and St. Cloud Minnesota and graduated from Cathedral High School.

Mary Jane being Army Officers wife lived in the many different locations that her husband Claud was stationed. They lived in New Jersey, Arizona, Germany, Georgia, and Texas. Upon her husband Claud’s retirement they have resided in Sierra Vista for over 35 years.

Mary Jane was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church, for over 25 years, where she served as a Deacon, a member of the Nursing Home Ministry, as a greeter and usher, and a hostess for after church fellowship hour. Mary Jane was a long time member of the Sierra Vista Women’s Club, the Christian Women’s Club, and the Red Cross. She enjoyed acrylic and watercolor painting, wreath making, bowling and golf until rheumatoid arthritis limited her participation.

In addition to her parents, Mary Jane was predeceased by her brothers, Norbert and Benny Habiger and her sister Alice Habiger. She is survived by her husband Claud “Sonny” Coble; a daughter, Michelle Phillips (Bruce); a son, Michael Hennen (Donna); five brothers, Leroy Habiger, James Habiger, John Habiger, Anthony Habiger, and Thomas Habiger; two sisters, Margaret Varner and Diane Thelen; a granddaughter, Heather James (Zachary); along with many nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Mary Jane will be held at Faith Presbyterian Church with interment at Faith Presbyterian Church Columbarium at a later date.

There are no visiting hours. Hatfield Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
