Dewayne Edward Smith Of Lansing, MI and formerly of Onondaga, MI passed away on April 9, 2018 at the age of 59. Dewayne was born on March 15, 1959 in Mason, MI the son of John and Beverly (Huff) Smith. He attended Leslie Public Schools and worked as a welder for Demmer Corporation until 2010.

Dewayne is survived by his mother, Beverly Smith; sisters, Marie (Jeff Quainton) Gugler, Missy (Dennis) Jones; brother, Floyd Smith; step-children, Marjorie Vanvleet, Carrie Rathbun, David Davis; grandchildren, Justin Vanvleet, Nicki Swain, Raelene Rathbun, Cleon Rathbun, Adam Davis, Hannah Davis and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Dewayne’s home 1655 Doc Strongs Rd. Lot 143 Lansing, MI 48911.
