Obituary for Dexter Lyle Presley Dexter Lyle Presley, 57 of Oakhill, WV passed away May 31, 2018 in Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, WV. Dexter was born August 12, 1960 in Richlands, VA and was the son of the late Earnest L. Presley and Peggy Evelue (Perkins) Cox. He attended Richlands High School.

Dexter began working at an early age at Coy Horn Auction, Tastee Freeze, and Piggly Wiggly in Cedar Bluff, VA. Later he was a construction worker for many years before he was disabled. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, William Joe and James Presley.

Step-father Danny Cox and Father-in-Law Dewey Hooper. Survivors are: Wife: Theressa (Hooper) Presley Daughter: Lyndsey Spack and husband Robert of Oakhill, WV Sons: Clinton Presley of Oakhill, WV Zachary Scott and fiancè Tierra Roop, of Oakhill, WV Step- Daughter: Tara (Belle) Prater, Oakhill, WV Step-Son: Randy Martin of Ocala, FL Sister: Gail Mitchell and husband Leslie of Winchester, VA Step-Mother: Hazel Presley of Bristol, TN Sister-in-Law: Eugenia Presley, of Cedar Bluff, VA Mother-in-Law: Ethel Hooper, of Shady Springs, WV Grandchildren: Madison Scott, Josiah Spack, Noah Scott and Paisley Scott. Step- Grandchildren: Brandon Hopkins, Bradley Hopkins, Gabriella Prater, Matthew and Andrew Martin A memorial service for Dexter Lyle Presley will be conducted at 2PM on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Virginia with the Reverend Lucky Bunn officiating.
