Obituary for Charolette Inez Taylor Charolette Inez Taylor, age 71, of Raven, Virginia passed away in Lebanon, Virginia on Monday, July 2, 2018 at a Russell County hospital. She was born in Virginia and was the daughter of the late William June and Mary Duty Sheckler. Charolette was a fulltime homemaker who dedicated her life to caring for her family.

She was known as the jigsaw puzzle queen, she could master putting them together usually in one day. Charolette found great joy in watching her grandchildren at their various sporting events and cheering them on. She enjoyed playing cards and gardening and she was a lifelong resident of the area.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Claude Taylor; sister, Ann Gobble : Brothers, Johnny and Terry Sheckler. She is survived by: Son, John Taylor and companion, Courtney Shepherd of Richlands, VA Daughters: Teresa Hay and spouse Connie of Clincho, VA Linda Wood of Honaker, VA Barbara Taylor of Blountville, TN Charolette Shelton and husband, George of Richlands, VA Sister, Sue Woods of St. Paul, VA Brother, Blaine Sheckler of St. Paul, VA 7 Grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a host of family and friends also survive. A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.
