Obituary for Donald Royal Mr. Donald Ray Royal, age 56, of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, passed away Saturday (June 23, 2018) in a Bristol, Tennessee hospital. Born April 4, 1962 in Grundy, Virginia, he was a son of the late James and Laura Stiltner Royal. A lifelong resident of the area, he enjoyed watching Wrestling and NASCAR Racing, he was a member of Bible Way Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Emma Jean Goss, two brothers, Timmy Royal and Charles Day, and one niece, Sandra Hurt. Survivors include his wife of eight years, Mary Blankenship Royal of the home; two sons, Shawn Royal and Alex Royal both of Richlands, Virginia; three brothers, Eddie Royal and wife, Barbara of Pounding Mill, Kenneth Royal of Big Rock, and Roger Royal and wife, Alice of Cedar Bluff; one sister, Sherry Royal of Middlesboro, Kentucky; special niece, Deborah Royal; special nephew, Dakota Royal; three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev.
Dannie Short officiating. Interment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Bobby Mullins, Billy Royal, Austin Royal, Tony Hurt, Barry Matney and Roger Blankenship.
