Obituary for Doristeen Holland Morris Doristeen Holland Morris passed away peacefully on October 18, 2018 at the age of 81. She was born on December 18, 1936 in Tunica, LA to Effie Patterson and Lawrence Holland. Doristeen graduated salutatorian from Joseph S Clark High School and attended Southern University at New Orleans.

She retired from AT&T in 1995 as a sales/service representative with 28 years of dedicated service. She is preceded in death by her parents, Effie Patterson and Lawrence Holland. She is survived by daughters, Mishelle Morris (Bruce) Magee and Lori Morris (Edward) Williams, grandchildren, Roger Magee II and Rachelle “Bianca” Magee and host of family and friends.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, October 27, 2018: Visitation 1-2pm, Funeral Mass 2-3pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel, 411 Rampart St, New Orleans, LA 70112. Internment Mount Olivet Cemetery. Arrangements by D. W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 1020 Virgil St., Gretna, LA 70053.
