Dorothy Beatrice Jeffrey, 100, of West Salisbury, PA, died Monday, July 23, 2018, at Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville, MD. Born April 22, 1918, in Elk Lick Twp. , PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie (Russell) Wagner.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jeffrey, Jr.; one son, Dale; one daughter, Janet Sue; three sisters, Leona Wagner, Thelma Miller and Mildred Blocher; three infant brothers, Albert, Harvey and Franklin. Mrs. Jeffrey was a dairy farmer and maple producer from 1941-2012, operating Wagner’s Dairy Farm and Maple Sugar Camp. She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ and enjoyed visits from friends, family and customers.

She is survived by one niece, Janet Miller, Frostburg, MD; one nephew, Joe Plummer, West Salisbury, PA; two great-nephews, Jason Blocher, Salisbury, PA; John Miller, Springs, PA and one great-niece, Lori Abraham, Pittsburgh, PA. A memorial service will be conducted in the St. John’s United Church of Christ, 153 Ord St., Salisbury, on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Alexa Smith officiating.

Interment will be in the Salisbury Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www. newmanfuneralhomes.com.
