Duaine J. Kazcinski Sr., 77 passed away on June 6, 2018 at Jackson County Regional Health Center in Maquoketa. His Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the Andrew Cemetery at the family plot. Lahey and Dawson Funeral Services will be assisting the family at this time.

Duaine was born on December 29, 1940 in Clinton, Iowa to John and Arlene (Peters) Kazcinski. Duaine was a 1959 graduate of Delmar High School. He married Mavis Keeney and together they farmed for 36 years.

He went onto meet his current fiancé Debra Soldaat and the two of them resided in Hurstville, Iowa where they enjoyed several years of camping, fishing and he had a great love for music, especially Jonny Cash. He was a former member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #3866. Duaine is survived by three brothers; Darrell Kazcinski of Delmar, Jack Kaczinski of Florida & Illinois and Jim Kaczinski of Camanche, Iowa, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, children Duaine John Jr. “George” in 2009 and Daniel Joseph Kaczinski in 2017. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to his family in his honor. Online condolence may be left for the family at www.
