Edward Alan Breuer, 59, of Burlington, died Sunday, March 17, 2019, at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington. Born May 23, 1959, in Iowa, he was the son of Jack Nelson and Jessie Mae Paup Kay. Eddie had a young spirit and was a very social person.

He liked Mt. Dew and enjoyed walking around town everyday cleaning up pop cans. Survivors include six brothers, David Brian Breuer of Burlington, Mark Breuer of North Carolina, Gary Bowman of Minnesota, Roy Leasch of Biloxi, AL, Robert Leasch and Gary Leasch both of West Burlington; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh~Thielen Crematory. Memorial visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday, March 22, 2019 at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home.

Burial will be held at a later date. A memorial has been established in honor of Eddie.
