Obituary of Edward Bard Edward Dale Bard, Sr, 78, a longtime Red Hook resident, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at his home. Born on October 31, 1940, in Rhinebeck, NY, he was the son of the late Edward and Kathleen (Hutchings) Bard. Dale married Alice Delanoy on August 9, 1963 at St. Sylvia’s Church in Tivoli, NY.

Alice predeceased him on July 18, 2011. Well known throughout the area, Dale, along with his sons-are the owners and operators of Bard and Sons Masonry based in Red Hook, NY. He was a lifelong communicant of St Sylvia’s/St. Christopher’s Church in Red Hook.

Dale is survived by his children, Edward Dale (Pam) Bard, Jr. of Red Hook, NY, David (Kim) Bard of Red Hook, NY, Randall Bard of Red Hook, NY, and Victoria (Peter) Pasco of Livingston, NY; his sister, Barbara (Bill) Kahle of Clermont, NY; his grandchildren, Nicole (Brad) Hanaburgh, Daniel Bard, Mike Bard, Dylan Bard, David Bard, Jr., Amanda Bard, Travis Bard, Caitlin Pasco, Alyssa Pasco, Kelsey Pasco, Dana Pasco, and Brady Pasco; his great grandchildren, Tyler Hanaburgh, Evan Hanaburgh, Gavin Hanaburgh, William Bard, and Harper Rice; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, colleagues and friends. In addition to his loving wife, his brother, Jim and Randy Bard, predeceased him. Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 4 to 7 pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at St. Christopher’s Church in Red Hook. Burial will be at St. Sylvia’s Cemetery, Tivoli. Memorial donations may be made in Dale’s memory to St. Christopher’s Church, 7411 S. Broadway, Red Hook, NY 12571 Arrangements are under the direction of Burnett & White Funeral Homes 7461 S. Broadway, Red Hook, NY.
