Esther “Diana” Ackley, 82, of 229 High St., Bradford, died Friday, April 13, 2018 at the Pavilion at Bradford Regional Medical Center. She was born November 7, 1935, in Bradford, the daughter of Katherine Clyde Webber and William Webber. Hector Walter was her step-father.

On April 21, 1951 she married Leo “Pete” Ackley who passed away on October 8, 2002. She attended Bradford Schools. She worked at Zippo Manufacturing on and off in the past.

She was a member of the Policeman’s… Read More » Wives Association. She was a homemaker and enjoyed doing crafts, reading, collecting recipes, playing games and traveling. She is survived by two sons, David (Penny) Ackley of Bradford, Douglas (Diana) Ackley of Russell; two daughters, Deborah (John) Nichols of Bradford, Deanna (Jerry) Alexander of Erie; one sister, Ruth (Bob) Ackley of Bath, NY; one brother, Robert Webber of Florida; seven grandchildren, Kevin (Stephanie) Ackley, Matthew Nichols, Tonya Ackley, Marc (Stacey) Ackley, Shawn (Tracy) Alexander, Alicia Alexander, Jennifer (Jason) Barry; nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, husband, three sisters and a brother. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 16, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc. with a funeral service to immediately follow at the funeral home at 3:00 PM with David Moses officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 108R North Second St., Suite 1B, Clearfield, PA 16830 or a charity of the donor’s choice.
