Obituary for Ethel H. Gieseking Ethel H. Gieseking, age 85, of Alhambra, Illinois died at 8:40 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2018, at Highland Hospital. Ethel was retired and in earlier years worked as a clerk at Florists Mutual in Edwardsville. She was born July 18, 1932, in Valmeyer, Illinois the daughter of the late John & Lillie (Manley) Osborn.

She married Alvin Gieseking and he preceded her in death. Ethel is survived by 2 sons, Mitchell Gieseking and his wife Sharon of Alhambra and Brian Gieseking & his wife Karen of Marine as well as several grandchildren. She was preceded death by 2 brothers & sister.

There is no visitation or services. As per her wishes she was cremated. Weber & Rodney Funeral Home handled arrangements.
