Obituary for Sadie Aileen Cross Sadie Aileen Jurgena Cross, age 87, of Edwardsville, Illinois died Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at her home. Aileen worked for her sons at Cross Autobody in Edwardsville for 18 years. She was born August 29, 1930 in Witt, Illinois the daughter of the late Rubert & Sadie (Compton) Jurgena.

She married John W. Cross on August 13, 1949 in Edwardsville. He preceded her in death on August 12, 1999. She is survived by 2 sons, Terry Cross & wife Cindy of Edwardsville and Craig Cross & wife Sue of Edwardsville; 1 daughter, Rhonda Mayfield & husband Charles of Alexandria, Virginia; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 1 son, Gary Cross; 2 brothers, Ray & Eugene Jurgena & 1 sister, Maybelle Mayfield. She was a member of the Hope Tabernacle in Staunton, Illinois. Visitation will be from 9 am until 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home.

Services will follow at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Dennis Mayfield and Rev. Larry Mayfield officiating.

Interment will follow at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon. Memorials may be given to the Hope Tabernacle. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Sadie Aileen Cross please visit our Sympathy Store.
