Obituary for Mary Eileen Klie Mary “Eileen” Klie, age 93, of Edwardsville, Illinois, passed away at 12:52 a.m. on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She was born June 21, 1924, in Windsor, Illinois, the daughter of the late Vance & Mary (Clem) Kercheval. Eileen married the late Robert E. Klie on September 20, 1953, in Windsor, he preceded her on June 7, 2014.

She is survived by two sons, Ross Klie & wife Mary Ann Tomaszewski of Anchorage, Alaska, Richard Klie & wife Jan of Edwardsville; one daughter, Mary Schamel & husband Tim of Eureka, Missouri; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; & one sister, Ella Mae Chilovich of Hillard, Ohio. Eileen was preceded in death by one brother, Vance Kercheval; & one sister Virginia Coen. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Edwardsville.

There will be no visitation and a graveside service will be held at the Ash Grove Christian Church Cemetery in Windsor, Illinois, at a later date. She was cremated according to her wishes. Weber & Rodney Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
