Obituary for Leslie F. Pfeifer Leslie F. Pfeifer, age 91, of Palmyra, Illinois formerly Edwardsville died Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at Memorial Hospital in Springfield. Leslie was a retired carpenter working for Carpenters Local 295 in Collinsville. He was born August 4, 1926, in Edwardsville the son of the late Chris & Nora (Franke) Pfeifer.

He married Avis Irene Tucker on April 5, 1945, at Eden Church in Edwardsville. Besides his wife Irene he is survived by a daughter, Loretta K. Foley & husband Charles of Palmyra; 4 grandchildren, Chris & Lisa Pfeifer of Bethalto, Jennifer L. King of Alton, Charles D. Turner, III of Springfield, and Allison I. Turner of Plainfield, Illinois; 8 great grandchildren; and 1great great grandson. Leslie was preceded in death by 1 son, Leonard Pfeifer and a great great granddaughter, Elizabeth C. Turner.

Leslie was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved baseball and was an avid Chicago Cubs Fan. There is no visitation.
