Grant B Ward, 84, of Green Mountain, died Friday June 22, 2018 at The Cranberry House. A native of Minnesota, he was a son of the late Ben and Grace Allen Ward. He was an US Army veteran.

Grant had been a resident of Yancey County for many years, and was a former employee of Glen Raven Mills in Burnsville. He was one of 11 children in his family. Surviving is a sister, Erma Wey of Washougal, WA.

At his request no services are planned. Holcombe Brothers is assisting the Ward family.
