H.’s Obituary H. Allen Pfister, age 93, of Quakertown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 26, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Garnetta (Grote) Pfister, with whom he shared over 70 years of marriage. Born May 7, 1925 in Towamencin, he was a son of the late George Henry Pfister, Sr. and Bertha (Stoudt) Pfister.

Allen was employed by North Penn Transfer for over 30 years until his retirement in 1982. He enjoyed restoring cars, bowling, square dancing and traveling. He enjoyed competing in truck rodeos and won several times.

Allen loved to spend time in the Poconos at his cabin with his family and friends. He loved his family and cherished the times they spent together. In addition to his wife Garnetta, he is survived by his children Pat Humlhanz and her husband Tom, Bonnie Pfister, Glenn Pfister, Deb Smith and her husband Joe; grandchild Greg Humlhanz and his wife Terrie; great grandson Eric Humlhanz; sister Jean Swartz.

Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his brothers George Jr., Earl Sr., Charlie and Jim Pfister. A viewing will take place for Allen on Monday, March 4, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and again on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 10:00 – 10:45 AM at the Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike Telford (Franconia Twp.

), where the funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Christ Covenent Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Allen’s name may be made to a charity of donor’s choice.
