Warg, 61, of North Broad Street, West Hazleton, died Saturday at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton. Born in Hazleton, June 24, 1957, he was a son of Marlene Ann (Cassarella) Warg and the late Carl W. Warg. Harold was a 1975 graduate of West Hazleton High School and until his retirement in 2003, was employed at Hazleton Joint Sewer Authority since he was 19 years old.

He was a founding member of Faith United Church of Christ, Hazleton and was very active in the church and its various functions; including being an elder on the consistory and a member of the property committee. Harold loved antique cars and antique collectables. He was a member of the Hershey AACA, the International Thunderbird Club and the Hazle Park Car Club.

He served as a volunteer fireman for West Hazleton, was a West Hazleton Councilman from 1982-1986 and member of the Hazle-Azalea-Fellowship Masonic Lodge #327 of Hazleton. He also enjoyed spending time attending Hazleton Area High School basketball games. He is only preceded in death by his father.

Surviving are his daughters Katie Conahan and her husband Kevin John of Beaver Meadows and Tori Warg of Sugarloaf; mother of his children Lori Warg of Sugarloaf; brother Bill Warg and his wife Karen of Laury’s Station, PA; sister Carlene Attick of Parker, CO; niece Amanda Attick; nephews Michael Warg and Jon Warg and great niece Hadley Luebbert. Friends and family are invited to call at the Butler Chapel of Krapf and Hughes Funeral Home, Inc., 530 West Butler Drive, Drums, for a visitation on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Friday morning friends and family are invited to gather at the Faith United Church of Christ, 21 Faith Drive, Hazleton, PA 18202 for a Memorial Service that will begin at 10:00 AM.

Burial will take place privately in the Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown. Memorial Donations to the Faith United Church of Christ, 21 Faith Drive, Hazleton, PA 18202 are welcomed by the family.
