Obituary for Mrs. Helen Ethel Roach Galloway Helen Ethel Roach Galloway, 83, wife of the late Harold “Cotton” Galloway, of 7774 N. Highway 11, Walhalla, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018, at Oconee Memorial Hospital. A native of Oconee County, SC, Mrs. Galloway was the daughter of the late Dee Fidel and Addie Swafford Roach. She retired from the textile industry.

Mrs. Galloway was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Galloway is survived by her daughter: Judy Galloway of Walhalla; brother: John D. Roach of Salem; sisters: Essie Burrell of Walhalla and Ruth Crowe of Walhalla; sister-in-law: Linda Lusk of Walhalla; brother-in-law: Charles Galloway of Walhalla; and a great nephew who was more like a grandson: Michael Ditullio of Walhalla. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Galloway was preceded in death by her sisters: Mabel Webb and Lillian Cape.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Monday, November 12, 2018, at Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Flowers are accepted. The family is at the residence.
