Obituary for James B Vicars James B. Vicars 73, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018. Mr. Vicars was born and raised in Blountville, Tn. and resided there all his life.
Mr. Vicars was a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Army. He was a retired accountant from Electrolux and he attended Emory Methodist Church. Mr. Vicars is preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Faye Vicars.
He is survived by two sons; Eric Wayne and Timothy Darren Vicars, sisters; Louise, Randall, Rachel and Zona, brothers; Thomas and Gene, grandchildren; Jessica, Darren, Harley, Ashley, Hannah, Tyler and James, great-grandchildren; Hunter and Clayton and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday, December 28, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 8:00 pm with Pastor Bob Ferguson officiating. Mr. Vicars will be laid to rest Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 3:00 pm at the East Tennessee Cemetery with military rites by the American Legion post 3/265.
