Mr. James “Freddy” Hall, 68, of Swainsboro passed away Friday, June 15, 2018 at Emanuel Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Hall was born February 21, 1950 in Swainsboro, Ga. to the late Preston Hall and Fannie Lou Ferrell Hall.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Angie Brewer, and Kay Whisnart. Mr. Hall loved all sports, he was very active with the recreation department from coaching, umpiring, refereeing, and playing. He was a member of Dellwood Baptist Church.

Survivors include his son, Bo Hall, children, Dylan, Abbi, Charissa Hall and daughter-in-law, Evelyn Hall; son, J.J. Hall (Angela), children, Desi Brantley, and Dustin Hall all of Swainsboro; brother, Timothy Hall (Pam) of Fitzgerald; sisters, Sandy Williams of Adrian, and Faye Horton (Brian) of Savannah; several nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral Services will be at Dellwood Baptist Church 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 18, 2018 with Reverend Joe Bedgood officiating. Mr. Hall will lie in state one hour prior to service.

Interment will follow in the Kite City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7p.m. Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Tim Coleman, Jeff Newsome, Dylan Hall, Billy Minton, and Vernon Hardy.
