Obituary of James McAndrew Mr. James McAndrew of Milford, PA and a lifetime resident of the area died Monday, April 30, 2018 at home. He was 87. He was born December 10, 1930 in Port Jervis, NY the son of the late James McAndrew and the late Eleanor Hughson McAndrew.

James married Patricia Carey 67 years ago on March 11, 1951 in Port Jervis, NY. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. James was a member of Port Jervis Elks Lodge No.

645, Port Jervis and the Roosa – Fleming V. F. W. Post No. 161, Port Jervis. He worked as a Conductor and earlier in his career as a Brakeman for the Erie Railroad in Port Jervis, NY.

A family statement read: “James was an avid golfer and was especially thrilled to shoot under his age in 2017”. Lauderdale, FL Grandson: James Shevlin and his wife Deborah Houma, LA Granddaughter-in-law: Tammy Shevlin-Galligan & husband Michael Cuddebackville, NY Granddaughter: Brigid Fitzpatrick & her husband John Houston, TX 2 Great Granddaughters: Alyssa Shevlin & Kayla Shevlin 2 Great Grandsons: Andrew Shevlin & Jack Fitzpatrick Also several nieces and nephews Predeceased daughter: Susan Shevlin Predeceased Sisters: Patricia Faiello and Dolores Van Sickle There will be no visitation.

A graveside funeral service with Military Honors was held at the Milford Cemetery, Milford, PA.
