Obituary for Janet D. Fink Janet D. (Houdeshell) Fink, 83, died on Friday, October 26, 2018 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Robert D. Fink. Janet was born in York on November 15, 1934, daughter of the late David William and Gertrude (Fake) Houdeshell.

She retired from Central York School District in 1993 where she served as a custodian. Janet is survived by her son, Steven Fink and his wife, Aretta of Spring Grove; three grandchildren, Joni Fink, Crystal Altland, and Travis Fink; eight great grandchildren, Isaac, Logan, Caleb, Brianna, Hannah, Brooklyn, Brody, and Morgan; her brother, Ralph Houdeshell of Willington, CO; and her sister, Jean Scantling of Wrightsville. She was preceded in death by her son, Darrell Fink; her brother, Dale Houdeshell; and her sister, Grace Cooly.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Etzweiler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 1111 E. Market St., York. There will be a viewing on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Mount Rose Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
