Jeffery D. Fox, age 61, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018, while attending a Brewer game for a company outing. He was born in Janesville on Dec. 23, 1956, the son of Fred and Gloria (Trickle) Fox.

He married Charise Wolff on June 23, 1984. Jeffery was the former President and CEO of LeMans Corporation, the current President of Fox LLC, Fox Den Store-It, and VIKTOS. Jeff loved the outdoors.

Whether it was riding motorcycles in Sturgis, goose hunting in Manitoba, or fishing in Saskatchewan, Jeff did it all. He was always on the go, and couldn’t sit still for very long. He loved any event that involved spending time with his family, especially when it involved his two children.

Jeff was an avid Wisconsin sports fanatic. He never missed a Badger home football game at Camp Randall. Every year for his birthday, Jeff and his two children made the trek up to Green Bay for a snow covered Packers game, and a day filled with memories.

Jeff spent a lot of time out at his farm. He hosted yearly deer hunting events for opening weekend, most of which didn’t involve a ton of hunting. It always turned out to be more of a male bonding weekend, and a time for Jeff to make his famous chili to share with the group.

Jeff had the opportunity to travel the world while at LeMans. He was most excited about taking his family back to these places years later and showing them the ropes. He had a memory like no other, and enjoyed showing his wife and kids all of the places where he had spent his time at.

He could name every restaurant he ate at, every bar he had a drink at, and every hotel he stayed at, with directions to each. Jeff was a mentor to all he met. He loved sharing his knowledge and experience with everyone.

He was the life of the party, and the rock for his family. He never missed an opportunity to teach his children something new, and made sure they had all of the skills they needed to succeed in life. Jeffery is survived by his wife, Charise; 2 children, Justin (Jacquelyn Zigler) Fox and Jamie (Kyle Vance) Fox; mother, Gloria (David Martinson) Fox; father, Fred (Paula) Fox; 5 siblings: Steven Fuchs, Brian (Brenda) Fox, Craig Fox, Teri (Dan) McGinty, and Lori Krueger; and many other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his uncle, Stan Fox and father in law, Gene T. Wolff. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2018, at SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY. In lieu of flowers Memorials are preferred to the Lupus Foundation of America, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, American Diabetes Association, or Make-A-Wish Wisconsin.
