Jimmy’s Obituary A graveside service for Jimmy Leon Moehlmann will be held at 2:00p.m. at Pope City Cemetery on Sunday, June 2, 2019. Bro. Craig Evers will be officiating the service.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Downs Funeral Home. Jimmy Leon Moehlmann, 73 of Marshall, Texas passed away on May 30, 2019 in Longview, Texas. Mr. Moehlmann was born on December 2, 1945 in Marlin, Texas to his parents, Otto Moehlmann and Elsie Louise Nehring.

Mr. Moehlmann retired from the Army National Guard after serving more than 33 years. Jimmy was a very loving man and would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He is a family man; he was the family “Hero”.

Mr. Moehlmann is survived by daughters, Amy Jo Lonsway, and Alicia Joseph (Michael) all of Woodlawn; sister, Doris Reneau of Waco, Texas; grandchildren, Cassidy Lonsway, Makayla Lonsway, Haylee Lonsway, Mikey Joseph, and Cheyenne Joseph, and Shelby Lynn Brown; great-grandchildren, Christian Heath. Mr. Moehlmann is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Lorell Bryant Moehlmann and his parents.
