Obituary for John Goebel John C. Goebel Sr., 70, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. He was born May 22, 1948 at Mill Spring, MO to parents Clyde and Miriam (Daugherty) Goebel. On August 1, 1970, he was united in marriage to Rose Slane and they were blessed with three children.

He was employed at Gross and Jane Tie Company in Williamsville, MO. He loved to hunt and fish with his family and friends. He was of the Methodist faith and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents. John is survived by his wife of forty-seven years; children: John Goebel Jr. and wife Jessica of Williamsville, MO, Ryan Goebel and his wife Rosie of Greenville, MO, Renee Luke of Williamsville, MO; grandchildren: Austin Goebel, Shawn Goebel, Marquan Luke, Zaalilyah Luke; great-grandchildren: Brantley Goebel and Wrenden Goebel. There will be a memorial at 1:00 pm, June 30, 2018 at Rose and John’s residence in Williamsville for family and friends.
