Obituary for Barbara Magill Barbara Magill, 77, formerly of Wayne County, MO, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018, at Southbrook Nursing Center, Farmington, MO. Barbara was born July 9, 1941, at Farber, MO, daughter of Wilson and Dorothy (Ridgeway) Abernathy. She was married to Robert Magill and they were married twenty-two years before his passing.

Barbara was a devout Christian woman, spending time daily in her Bible was a priority. She was also deeply committed to her family and especially the grandchildren. In spare time she enjoyed playing the piano an instrument that she learned to play by ear; and crocheting and embroidery.

She had past worked for Country Mart. Barbara is survived by daughters: Kathy Christopher and husband Deion of Desloge, MO and Deborah Bowling and husband James of Camdenton, MO; five grandchildren: Jimmy Bowling, Robert Bowling, Jennifer Bowling, Julia Christopher and Drew Christopher; one brother, Bobby Abernathy and wife Rachel of Patterson, MO; sister in law, Janet Abernathy of Piedmont, MO; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; two brothers: Ronnie and Larry Abernathy.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 am, Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Meador-Flatwood Cemetery near Piedmont.
