Obituary for Michael Bartlett Michael M. Bartlett, 48, of Des Arc, MO, passed away Monday, July 9, 2018, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center St. Louis, MO. Michael was born April 16, 1970, at Chicago, IL, to parents Murray Moore Bartlett. and Hydrith “Heidi” (Blackburn) Bartlett Pennington.

Michael’s passing will leave a hole in the heart of his family and friends. He was a special person, loving son, father, brother and uncle. He enjoyed and loved his sons and respected his step-father Don.

In spare time he watched Nascar racing, fished with his sons and best friend Tim, and enjoyed the company of Tim and Angel Erick and their children. Michael had worked in factories most of his life. He was of the Christian faith and attended Harvest Baptist Church, Piedmont, MO.

He was extremely proud of having been a past member of Des Arc Fire Department for ten years. He is survived by his loving mother, Hydrith “Heidi” Pennington and husband Don of Des Arc; two sons: Michael Bartlett Jr. and Dylan Bartlett both of Lowndes, MO; one grandson, Andy; one brother, David Bartlett of California; one aunt, Patty King of Florida; one niece, Jennifer Mudra; two nephews: Ronald and Donald Mudra. He was preceded in death by his father, Murray Moore Bartlett; and one brother, Ronald Mudra Jr. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 12, 2018, from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont, MO.

Services will follow at the chapel at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Mann Cemetery near Annapolis, MO. Online condolences can be made at www.
